Zarsky Lumber Company     Job Title:                               Outside Sales Associate   Reports To:                          Store Manager                 Location:                              Victoria   Status:                                   Exempt    Position Summary: A Zarsky Lumber Company Outside Sales Associate is responsible for finding sales opportunities and completing sales primarily with builders, developers and contractors.  This position requires the ability to establish and maintain relationships with a customer base of 15 – 30 customers on an ongoing basis.  This is accomplished by identifying target customers, making calls, visiting job sites, and assisting customers in a timely and efficient manner with their projects and related product knowledge. Strong sales techniques, following through with commitment and excellent communication skills are all components of this position.   General:  Seeking a qualified individual to manage and grow account base by selling a full line of building materials and services.  The ideal candidate will have 5 years of previous selling experience with a focus on building materials or similar to custom and commercial builders. Extensive product knowledge is a plus. Candidate must possess good oral and written communication skills and be able to present and negotiate large deals in a group setting.   Compensation: The compensation structure during the transitional period is as follows: For the first 6 months, it will be based on a semi-monthly salary rate. After this period, the compensation will transition to being 100% commission-based, calculated using gross profit dollars from assigned accounts. Job Title:           Load Builder Associate     Reports To:       Manager               Location:           Corpus Chrisit, TX   Status:                Non-Exempt     Position Summary: To select and build loads for customer pick-up orders and company delivery, as well as receive, unload and store incoming stock shipments. Major Responsibilities: - At the start of the shift check schedule, attend meetings and appointments - Perform cutting and packaging of materials, as directed, to prepare for customer pick-up or company delivery - Verify orders before loading orders onto customer vehicles and company delivery vehicles - Review and maintain correct quantity and condition of inventory received, ensuring inventory records are accurate - Keep yard and warehouse free of debris - Maintain and operate company equipment in a safe and efficient manner - Help customers in the unloading of materials from our vehicles - Assist in loading, unloading, stocking, and pulling of merchandise from various yard storage areas according to the Load Ticket/Customer Ticket, as necessary - Re-Fill diesel powered Forklifts with fuel, as required and change propane powered Forklift tanks as needed - Inspect and report to supervisor/ manager, daily, all maintenance or safety related issues with equipment - Report all accidents in the Yard immediately to your supervisor (even if minor).
