Strong sales techniques, following through with commitment and excellent communication skills are all components of this position.   General:  Seeking a qualified individual to manage and grow account base by selling a full line of building materials and services.  The ideal candidate will have 5 years of previous selling experience with a focus on building materials or similar to custom and commercial builders. Visit   https://zarsky.com/   Position Summary: To promptly, safely and professionally deliver building materials to customers and to assist in yard duties, as necessary.   Major Responsibilities: - Operate vehicle in a safe, efficient and courteous manner - Conduct vehicle safety inspections as required - Follow all established procedures and guidelines - Verify orders before loading orders onto customer vehicles and company delivery vehicles - Assist in loading, unloading, stocking and pulling of merchandise from various yard storage - Complete all paperwork in accordance with company policies and procedures. - Load and unload vehicle in a manner that ensures material is properly secured and free from potential damage - Inspect and report to supervisor/ manager, daily, all maintenance or safety related issues with equipment - Report all accidents in the Yard immediately to your supervisor (even if minor). Obtain all information about operator, vehicle, insurance, etc.  If property damage or personal injury occurs, obtain all related information including names, address, and type of damage or injury.  Proper reports must be filled out completely and turned into your supervisor the day of the incident - Perform other duties, as assigned   Qualification Guide: Education:        CDL License – Class A or Class B preferred. Experience:      Previous related work experience preferred.   Knowledge, skills and abilities: - Hand truck, forklift, semi-trailer, straight truck - Industry experience and product knowledge preferred - Attention to detail - Customer focus - Safety conscious
