Zarsky Lumber Co. is seeking a results-driven Store Manager to oversee daily operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and lead strategic initiatives that grow sales and enhance team performance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational excellence, team development, and business success.
Oversee all aspects of store operations, including staff management, scheduling, and workflow.
Develop and implement strategic plans to boost productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Recruit, train, and develop employees; conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality control.
Collaborate with management on budgeting, sales targets, policy development, and business growth.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment; handle accident and incident reports.
Prepare reports and communicate regularly with upper management.
Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture and address employee or customer issues promptly.
Assist with promotional and advertising strategies as directed by management.
Demonstrate flexibility by performing additional tasks to support store goals.
5+ years of management experience (Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Experience in recruiting, training, and developing staff.
Knowledge of lumber and building materials industry is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Motivated, professional, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
