Salary minimum 40k + commission 

Position Overview: The Inside Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Outside and Inside Sales Teams by facilitating communication between internal departments, customers, and vendors. This role requires a strong understanding of building materials and exceptional customer service skills.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Support Sales Teams: Provide daily assistance to both the Inside and Outside Sales Teams, ensuring a smooth flow of operations.
  2. Order Processing: Accurately process quotes, purchase orders, and orders, maintaining a high level of precision in all transactions.
  3. Customer Communication: Handle incoming calls from customers and sales representatives, addressing inquiries and providing information promptly.
  4. Liaison Coordination: Act as a liaison with various internal departments, including Shipping/Receiving and the Door Shop, as well as external vendors.
  5. Systematic Approach: Execute tasks with a systematic approach, demonstrating proficiency in functional responsibilities.
  6. Product Knowledge: Proactively acquire in-depth knowledge of company products to effectively assist both the sales team and customers.
  7. Effective Communication: Maintain excellent communication with internal staff and external contacts, fostering strong relationships.
  8. Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures across all departments.
  9. Receivables Assistance: Assist in collecting receivables as necessary, contributing to the financial health of the company.
  10. Time Management: Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet expectations and deadlines.
  11. Independent Performance: Work independently to achieve the desired outcomes for the role.
  12. Reporting: Keep management informed through timely report preparation as requested.
  13. Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other duties as assigned to support the overall functioning of the team.

 

Qualification Guide:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Preferred: three years of experience in experience lumber and millworks

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with BisTrack Point of Sale (training provided).
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with keen attention to accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
